These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of MultiMoversCo's services to the customer.
1. Services Provided
We provide moving, packing, unpacking, transportation, and related removalist services as agreed in your booking confirmation or quotation.
2. Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are estimates based on the information you provide.
Final charges may vary due to:
- Additional items not disclosed
- Access difficulties (e.g., stairs, narrow driveways)
- Delays beyond our control
We reserve the right to adjust pricing accordingly.
3. Booking and Payments
- A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
- Full payment is due upon completion of the Services unless otherwise agreed.
- Accepted payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Amex.
- Late payments may incur additional fees.
4. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate details about items, locations, and access conditions.
- Ensure all items are properly packed unless packing services are booked.
- Disconnect appliances and prepare items for transport.
- Be present (or have a representative) during pickup and delivery.
5. Access and Delays
You must ensure safe and reasonable access at both pickup and delivery locations.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Long carry distances
- Stairs or elevators
- Waiting time (e.g., keys not available, delays)
We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen events.
6. Prohibited and Restricted Items
We will not transport:
- Hazardous, flammable, or explosive materials
- Illegal goods
- Perishable food unless agreed
- Valuables such as cash, jewellery, or important documents
You are responsible for ensuring such items are not included.
7. Damage and Liability
We take reasonable care, but minor wear and tear may occur.
We are not liable for:
- Items packed by you
- Pre-existing damage
- Fragile items not properly declared or packed
Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law.
8. Insurance
- Basic transit insurance may be included.
- Additional insurance is recommended for high-value items.
- Claims must be made within 48 hours of delivery.
9. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellations must be made at least 24hrs prior.
- Deposits may be non-refundable if cancellation is late.
- Rescheduling is subject to availability.
11. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure or delay due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Accidents
- Government restrictions
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the cost of the Services provided.
- We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
13. Privacy
We collect and use your personal information solely to provide our Services in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
15. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be made available on request or on our website.
16. Acceptance
By booking our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
